(FOURTH) Wind boats

It may seem a little strange, but this is a paper crafting test. From a template with some minor mistakes, kids are asked the build by themsleves a couple of paper boats. Tey have to decide which they think is the best way to build them. Once that is done, we play a game with the boats and soon discover if their decisions were good enough.  Check some more images about this project.

2017 XMAS ARTS PROJECTS

As usual, kids in 6th years decided what xmas crafts they wanted to make. In their cooperative groups they decided what to do, which materials were needed, who was doing what and so on. The kids in fifth and fourth year keep asking me to do the xmas singers and the candle pots, they love them. Easy and fast decoration!

Vota els teus avions de paper preferits del curs 2016-17!

 

Ja fa diversos anys que, durant el darrer tram del curs escolar, organitzem diverses competicions relacionades amb els avions de paper. Cada grup construeix avions de paper per participar en tres competicions: Long Distance, (llarga distància), Time Flying (Temps volant) i Design (Disseny). No és dificil saber qui guanya a les dues primeres: l'avió que vola més lluny i el qui està més segons volant. Però i el de disseny? Quan parlem del que ens agrada més o menys cadascú te el seu criteri... Per això organitzem una votació en la que us convidem a participar.

 Ens ajudeu a decidir quins són els millors dissenys d'avió del curs 2016-17?

La votació s'ha acabat. L'avió amb més vots ha estat el número 13, del grup Pokemon Go.

(SISÈ) - Cardboard Sculpture Adventure

El cartró és un material molt econòmic, relativament fàcil de treballar i que permet als alumnes començar a construir formes amb volum. Des de fa anys que l'utilitzem a l'escola i algunes vegades, els resultats són sorprenents. Recordeu aquelles maquetes que vam fer d'edificis romans el curs 2010-11?

Hem dedicat unes hores a parlar sobre l'assetjament per participar en el 33 Concurs Escolar de l'ONCE. Els alumnes havien d'acabar consensuant entre tots una proposta per un cartell i una audiodescripció. Podeu veure els cartells que van fer els alumnes de 4t, 5è i 6è contra l'assetjament escolar en aquesta galeria.

PAPER AEROPLANE DESIGN COMPETITION 2015-16

What is your favourite paper aeroplane design? Pots votar tants avions com vulguis, fixa't en els númeos que identifiquen els avions i vota'ls al formulari que hi ha sota les imatges... Recorda que cal iniciar sessió per poder votar ;) Aquesta votació finalitza el proper dimecres 15 de juny! Ja tenim gunaydors!

First Recipe Project Contest!

These are the instructions for The First Recipe Contest!

• Work in groups and decide what recipe you want to make.
• Choose one of these three categories:

1. MOST DISGUSTING RECIPE
2. MOST DELICIOUS RECIPE
3. EASIEST RECIPE

• Decide what recipe you can do.
• Once you have the recipe you can start making the project.
• Each project has four parts to do:

1. "Title of the Recipe" in nice letters with the category under it.
2. "Ingredients list", what ingredients do you need for the recipe?
3. "Process", a step by step description explaining how to make the recipe.
4. "Pictures", beautiful pictures of the ingredients and the recipe.

• Divide the work, choose your colour papers and start working!

Treballar en grup per aixecar una estructura de plastilina i escuradents... Veure qui assumeix la direcció de l'obra, gestionar el grup, fabricar pisos per anar aixecant pisos...

Starting from some basic dialogues, some of our children manage to create some really interesting sketches... Have a look!

(TERCER) CHALK on the PLAYGROUND (guix al pati)

Quan s'acosta el bon temps intentem sortir de l'aula sovint. En aquesta activitat, els alumnes en grups de 3 o 4 alumnes decideixen que dibuixar en grup abans de baixar al pati. Un dels alumnes és el responsable de proporcionar guix als companys. Molt senzill i divertit!
