We've been several weeks talking and woking about the #fridaysforfuture project. After intriducing the topic, children decided to do several actions. Check this photo album to get an idea.

2017 XMAS ARTS PROJECTS

As usual, kids in 6th years decided what xmas crafts they wanted to make. In their cooperative groups they decided what to do, which materials were needed, who was doing what and so on. The kids in fifth and fourth year keep asking me to do the xmas singers and the candle pots, they love them. Easy and fast decoration!

(FOURTH) - Colour Menu Cooking

Identificar de quins ingredients disposem, els colors. Netejar-los abans de cuinar-los. Les ceres s'embruten fàcilment i cal netejar-les abans per aconseguir un color clar. Un cop tenim els ingredients, anem a veure què passa quan en barregem alguns: "What colour do you get?" "Is it dark or light?"

(FIFTH) Spaghetti Game

Per aprendre a pintar amb aquarel·les, cal saber primer com utilitzar el pinzell, com mesurar la força amb la que es barreja. Per practicar-ho ens vam inventar un joc que anomenen "Spaghetti Game". Consisteix en aconseguir pintar línies d'un mateix color d'una sola passada. Si han aconseguit fer una bona barreja tindran pintura suficient per arribar d'un costat a l'altre del full.

(FIFTH) MURALS de la VOLTA CICLISTA

Com ja ha esdevingut un costum, cada any, els alumnes de cinquè participen al concurs municipal de murals per la Volta Ciclista a Catalunya. A la galeria, podreu veure algunes imatges.

El cartró és un material molt econòmic, relativament fàcil de treballar i que permet als alumnes començar a construir formes amb volum. Des de fa anys que l'utilitzem a l'escola i algunes vegades, els resultats són sorprenents. Recordeu aquelles maquetes que vam fer d'edificis romans el curs 2010-11?

Quins són els vostres murals preferits de la Volta Ciclista a Catalunya? Cada mural te un número, esculliu els que us agraden més i voteu al formulari que trobareu a sota. What do you get if you mix blue and yellow? Wax colour are great for mixing. In this project, kids create their menus, they first make a list of their ingredients, (in this case, colours), and then create their delicatessen dishes, their unique colour mixtures...

We knew about primary and secondary colours but, why did Isaac Newton said that if you mixed all the colour you could get white? Isn't it crazy? We decided to prove why making an experiment...

Als blog d'Arts de l'Escola Pia de Mataró "La bombeta Encesa" ens convidaven fa uns mesos:

Enguany l’Escola Pia de Catalunya ha proposat un nou concurs que es mou en paral·lel a l’exitosa Mostra Audiovisual i que esperem que es consolidi com aquesta. Es tracta d’un concurs en la vessant de les arts plàstiques en el que hi poden participar tant els alumnes de secundària com els de batxillerat i cicles formatius i en els que també hi tenen cabuda, encara que fora de concurs, els nens d’infantil i primària.

 Doncs així ho vam fer a Calella, tot seguit veureu unes imatges ens les que ens veureu treballant en el projecte....

(SISÈ) - Room Name Signs

What is really 3D? After talking about three dimensions and optical illusions we started to create some signs for the children's rooms. How can we simulate the third dimension: depth? Some of the children tried experiment with shadows and volums, some rather make some kind of grafitty text.

6th - Colour Cercles - (Cercles cromàtics)

Isaac Newton defined the colour theory... What are primary colours? And secundary? Can you believe mixing different colours makes white? These and other questions were investigated in this project...

(QUART) making rockets

Sculpture can be made using recycled carboard boxes. In this case we designed some rockets. They drew the shape, cut it out and create a volume by duplicating the first shape. Take a look at the pictures to see some of the results.

(THIRD) - Bats (Rat penats)

We painted a template, then cutted out and glued the parts together. We also sticked a peck on the back so we could hang it up. As you can see they enjoyed it a lot and hurried to take it home! Check the Image Gallery for more fun.
