(SISÈ) - Step by Step Drawing Exercises

We try to develop drawing skills with several step-by-step drawings form early stages in our school. We graded exercises from easy to difficult and we spread them along the six first years. In the pictures attached you can see our sixth year kids drawing Harry Potter's characters downloaded from Activityvillage.co.uk.

Isaac Newton defined the colour theory... What are primary colours? And secundary? Can you believe mixing different colours makes white? These and other questions were investigated in this project...

(TERCER, QUART, CINQUÈ, SISÈ) Amazing Animals

We decided to join the Cambridge Penfriends project and try to create a relation with some students of foreign countries. We started by choosing an animal and then drawing it or inventing one using collage. Then we wrote a description with the help of our English teachers. The Cambridge Project provides you a topic to work on your cards. Once finished, can take some pictures and upload them to their website. It should have been fine if the school we were related would have answered my emails. We liked working on a given theme and seing what other children are doing. I'm trying to find another school which takes it seriously, but it looks like there are many "ghost schools" in the Cambridge Penfriends database...You can see some of our Amazing Animals cards in this link.

(SIXTH) - Colour Cercles (cercles cromàtics)

We first spoke about Newton's colour theory, defined what are primary and secondary colours. After we mixed wax colours to try and get black or white. Black was easy but, what about white? The experiment ended when we made the spinners in the picture above. You can see other picture in the Image Gallery.

(SISÈ) - chromatic cercle

Quins són els colors primaris? I els secundaris? Que va descobrir Newton en relació a la teoria del Color? Aquesta clàssica pràctica els ajuda a contestar aquestes respostes...

(SISÈ) - wide buildings (edificis amples)

Students in small groups work together in creating a wide structure using plasticine balls and toothpicks. Leaders soon emerge and organize their groups: you make the balls, you start building, you make sure we have enough toothpicks... After 30 minutes we stop the activity and take some pictures of the result.
